This 6 x 6 x 2 inch acrylic on canvas painting is inspired by the striking juxtaposition in China, capturing a McDonald's pop-up located directly in front of Shanghai's iconic Golden Temple. Drawing from personal experience, as the metro stop beneath this temple was part of my daily journey, the piece reflects the dynamic ways urban spaces in China coexist and function.
